Plan

Make sure you have your move-in date written down and all your tasks written out and prioritized. Make an efficient to-do list:

  1. Pick up free moving boxes from local clothing or grocery stores.
  2. Hire a moving company or ask friends or family for help.
  3. Pack a moving day bag to make your busiest day run smoothly.

02. Pack

Pack

Start loading up those boxes early! Tip: Label boxes to make sure you know where they go once you get inside your new home. Declutter and give away as much as possible so you’re not taking unnecessary junk you don’t need.

03. Load It Up

Load It Up

Make sure to have everything packed up before moving day. You’re also going to get hungry with all the moving, so pack snacks for the day. Once you’re ready, pack up those trucks/cars/vans and head to your new home in our IRT Living community!
